The birth of Max- Birth photography

This is a very special post for me, my very first birth photography session.
I have been holding off posting about this session until the right time, and I think on the eve of mothers day is perfect.
To witness such strength from two amazing mothers, to feel that soar of emotions as this little man took his first breaths, to capture the raw emotion and that instant conection was such an amazing privlidge and one that I will never forget.
There are no words to adequately describe the miracle of birth. It is incredible to think that a woman can grow and nurture another tiny human inside, and bring forth that little person into the world.

Birth is not just about the birth of a BABY. It is the ‘birth’ of a mother, and the ‘birth’ of a family. It symbolises the end of one journey and the beginning of another. It is a significant, life changing and intimate event.

It is beautiful.

And it is worth remembering.

Thank you so much for inviting me to photograph the birth of your second child, and welcome to the world Max xx
